Senior Software Engineer
THE OPPORTUNITY

This client is a leading supplier of Control System Integration services across various industries. They're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support their client base specifically based in North West England. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will work either on your own or as part of a team, on various projects undertaken by the company which cover a broad range of industry sectors and equipment types.

KEY ACTIVITIES

The work will include, but is not limited to the following activities:

  • Preparation of technical documentation
  • Project management
  • PLC, HMI and SCADA, software design and development (Siemens, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation Mitsubishi and Schneider)
  • Supervision of contract labour
  • Electrical design
  • Testing and commissioning on and off site
  • Supporting the sales team with site visits and quote preparation
